On November 2nd, & 16th 2024, volunteers from various regions came together, united by the common goal of spreading God’s love through selfless service combined their collective efforts to demonstrate a testament to the power of community and compassion. Each region made the day special in their unique way.

Rhode Island: NE Region’s Contribution

The NE Region of Rhode Island led by the diligent Elizabeth Kelly, directed their efforts towards alleviating hunger in their community. The team gathered at a local facility to package food items for those experiencing food insecurity within the community. With precision and care, they assembled nutritious meals, ensuring that each package was filled with essentials to sustain those in need. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of purpose, as volunteers worked in unison, driven by the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Philadelphia: NE Region PA chapter-Feeding the Community

In Philadelphia, under the capable leadership of Annette Kpoto, volunteers made a significant impact by partnering with the Chosen 300 Ministries Outreach Worship Chapter. Their task was to provide warm meals to the community, delivering not just food but also hope and comfort. North Carolina: SE Region Supporting Wilkinson ReStore-Habitat for Humanity

The SE Region of Charlotte was focused on supporting the Wilkinson ReStore, a branch of Habitat for Humanity. Led by Nanela Taplah, the volunteers dedicated their time to managing household donations. Their tasks included unloading donated items, organizing and cleaning the donations, placing the items on the sales floor, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and assisting customers with carry-outs after purchases. The volunteers’ efforts not only helped to ensure that the store operated efficiently but also contributed to the broader mission of Habitat for Humanity, which is to provide affordable housing for those in need. Nanela Tablah’s leadership and organizational skills were key to the success of this initiative, making the day both productive and fulfilling.

Minnesota: Central Region’s Commitment

In Minnesota, the Central Region team was headed by Brenda Taylor and Rebecca Vlah.
