Popcorn Sales become a testament to teamwork and fellowship by Sis. Deddeh Howard
In the spirit of camaraderie and unity, the S.T. Nagbe Distant Members Fellowship embarked on a popcorn sales fundraising initiative from March 22-25. Spearheaded by the Northeast region, this endeavor proved to be a resounding success, raising an impressive $2,494 through Double Good. Double Good, a leading virtual fundraising platform, help organizations raise funds quickly by sharing a link with friends and families—and allows them to keep 50 percent of every dollar in sales to fund their projects.
Teamwork and Fellowship Spirit
The success of the popcorn sales fundraising campaign would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment and enthusiasm of the fellowship members. From organizing the sales events to reaching out to potential buyers, every member played a crucial role in contributing to the overall achievement. The sense of unity and camaraderie that prevailed throughout the campaign showcased the strength of fellowship spirit, binding distant members together in a common cause.
The funds raised during the popcorn sales will be utilized to purchase To purchase chairs and tables for our newly renovated events hall, the Mildred Page Hall on the ground floor of the church’s edifice. This collective effort demonstrated the fellowship’s determination to create a positive impact within its community and beyond.
Beyond Fundraising
While the primary objective of the popcorn sales initiative was to raise funds, its impact extends far beyond financial gains. The campaign fostered a sense of belonging and connection among distant members, as they worked together towards a shared goal. The collective efforts showcased during this endeavor will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on the fellowship, strengthen bonds, and inspire future initiatives.
